Default need new windows for my pilothouse

Do you want to replace the windows complete with new frames, or just the
glass portion?

If you want to just replace the glass, I'd stick with safety glass, maybe
thicker if you want it stronger. Lexan or other plastics will scratch easily
on the surface and impair your vision after a bit, especially at night. It's
also not that great on UV resistance. You COULD use it on non-critical
applications, but I wouldn't want it in the pilothouse.

You could also order tempered glass. It has to be made to order and will be
expensive, but stronger than the safety glass. The problem is that if it
breaks, the whole window is gone. This is what they use in the side glass on
cars.

If you want to replace the entire window and frame with something stronger,
look at Diamond SeaGlaze or other mfgs. http://www.diamondseaglaze.com/
