I should probably also note that I don't think Tom would agree with my
opinions and obversations about this subject, Also that he has noted
to me that his son is aware of his dads' friends' opinion, and it has
been suggested that I never get pulled over in that area of the
country.

It gets worse: I once left a boy scout camp in Pennsylvania with my son,
some other kids, and a black guy who was a cop in another car. He said we
could "get home fast without any problems because of my shield", but we had
to drive perfect and legal in Broome County, NY. Why? He'd been warned by
other cops that the NY State Police in that neck of the woods had a small
contingent of good old boys who were KKK members. They **** on his shield
and ticket him. We did 54 mph through the county, and the same for 1/2 hour
over the border, too.

KKK. Police. Upstate NY. Unreal.
