Gene, I can't really tell if you are addressing me about "going to
make up lies..." or not. But if you are addressing me. I will plead
that Quaid is permanently banned.
Certainly, not. My bad, I *should* have said, "If one was going to
make up lies..." While abroad in USENET and not subject to APA or the
like which forces me to type formally, I tend to fall into bad habits
and type the way we might be talking face-to-face.....
What I really meant was that Quaid and wife are saying that
allegations against them are false. I'm merely observing that at least
some of the actions they are accused of were committed in the presence
of an (actual) audience. The SODDI defense (Some Other Dude Did It)
tends to fail, miserably, in cases such as this..... :-)

Too bad the union couldn't do a drug screen on Quaid before restoring
him to active status.
Drugs and drink. Too bad, because he was a decent character actor, and
was pretty funny in some of his films.
You must watch a lot of bad movies bud. I just googled the dude and the
only movie of his I even recognized the name of was Brokeback Mountain.
What! Never seen the Chevy Chase holiday movies?? Started the trio in
'National Lampoons Vacation' as Cousin Eddy in 1983.
I thought he was comical in that one and the 'Christmas' movie. Got a bit
tiresome by the 'Vegas Vacation'.
