Default Cuddy for an Open Top Dory

The first post I see in this thread has a in front of it so maybe
I've missed something. But a Dory, by definition, isn't rectangular
nor does it have a cathedral hull. It has a narrow flat bottom with a
high bow and flared sides. Secondary stability is good but can feel a
bit tippy at first. Amen on the "ideal for sea fishing" though. Is
that what you've got?
Anyhow, I'll second the suggestion for a canvas dodger. Methinks a
solid structure would be a bit much for a 16' Dory (I have one too).
A canvas shop that specializes in boat tops and biminis can fix you
right up.

Anyone know where I can find a free plan for a cuddy to put on my open
top 16ft fishing dory. Boat is quite rectangular really with a
cathedral hull. Very stable and ideal for sea Fishing.

With the boat being open to the weather I really do need to fit a
shelter. The persistent rain and wind are now making my joints ache.

I'd like to put a cuddy on the boat big enough to sit in, close the
door and have some form of heating, and maybe have a small stove and
a chemical loo!! Perils of old age creeping up on me!!
