Sinking rates in the Bermuda Triangle are no higher than for any other
area of the ocean; the number of sinking's may be high, but so is the
traffic. Lloyd's doesn't make you buy special insurance to sail
there.

The Great Lakes have more wrecks per square mile than the Bermuda
triangle, but one doesn't hear much in the way of super natural
nonsense being espoused about them.

There's a world chart of areas of more intensive rogue waves. Bermuda
Triangle is one of them. That would explain the large number of ship
sinkings for no reason, disappearing without a trace.

It's bad for the folklore business, though.
