Forcing one to use Apple's codec software over MS's codec software is
the same coin - just different sides.

And frankly, working with QT sucks. You never know from one video clip
processing to the next if it will play without futzing with this or that
to make it work.


Don't get me lying here, but I believe Blu-Ray is backward compatible,
and supports MPEG-2, MPEG-4, and VC-1.
