I've been doing business off and on for many years with "NewEgg," an
internet supplier of computer gear and all sorts of other electronics
stuff. Never had a problem.
Just wanted to mention that yesterday I ordered a couple of gigs of
memory for new server computer I am building, and I just got the emailed
UPS tracking notice. The memory sticks will be delivered today.
Apparently NewEgg has a distribution arrangement that enables it to drop
ship from warehouses around the country.
Wow!? Dropshipping??? Who'da'thunk....???
Good prices, too.

Overnight delivery at normal UPS delivery prices is a good deal, no
matter how it is done.- Hide quoted text -

Oh, and BTW... care to tell us snerk, what you are building a
"server" for? What will it be running. not windows right??

I've been running Windows Server 2008 *beta* for many months on a backup
machine, recently upgraded to the RC, and will be upgrading to the
final, perhaps at the end of February.

I also have Windows Home Server running on yet another machine. It's the
one my wife and I use for daily backup and to store our music and
videos. We each have a desktop and laptop we use here, and other
machines we use elsewhere.- Hide quoted text -

What are you using to manage your backups? We are setting up a Linux
box right now for a friend, will probably use rsync with a cron to
back up our linux stuff, and one of our frineds windows based hosting
servers...

Hehehe.

Read up on Windows Home Server.
