I have an 13 yo daughter and a 11 yo daughter going on 23. Sunday
afternoon I get a call from the 23 yo, I mean 11 yo, asking if she can go
to the mall with her friend. I ask if an adult is going and she responds,
without taking a breath, I will have my cell phone with me. Dead silence
on the phone and she hangs up. Later that day when she comes home I get
the silent treatment. I really did enjoy receiving the silent treatment.

Wow. You really *are* stupid if you accept the existence of a cell phone as
a substitute for the right answer, which she did not give you.
