Hi folks,

Just wondering what brand or system would be best for my 25 foot
Trojan. I have rack and pinion by Teleflex-Morse, but there's no way
to get it out without cutting it or my wood dash.

Any suggestions as to which system is best or cheapest?

Thanks
Donny

Why do you want to replace the one you have, is it still serviceable
or modifiable?
They are in all simple things which just do a job - is it not doing
the job?
If so why not?
Is it the rack and pinion?
If you go through the yellow pages, there are industrial suppliers,
with catalogers full of bits and pieces, like leggo. This is where
your boat suppliers will be buying their stuff from in the first
place, then adding a few bits, to make the package - While you may
get all the bits you need from these suppliers "cheaper" they have
all the rams, pumps, sensors etc, you could ever dream off. for
Industrial automation.

The guys who supply this type of stuff, will also give you more info -
and practical help in solving the problems -far better quicker than
most boat guys, as they are doing this "stuff"day in day out - and
there is nothing complex in a boat system, you just need to figure out
what is working for you and what isn't - and analyse out why?
Then its just simple maths and basic mechanics..
Then you buy your bits and stick it together -as exotic as you wish.
The trick is draw it out on paper.
