My tirade got the attention I knew it would from MS. This was a "beta"
upgrade to VISTA and apparently I was getting an error code no one else
was. The only downside was that the beta upgrade would not install. Got a
nice email today, telling me not to worry about it because after sending
in some files to MS and some logs, the "team" had figured out the problem
and that it would be "fixed." There's more to the explanation, but this
particular SmithersDungHoleisn't the place for rational adult discussion.
