Seriously, there are a lot of hacks for TiVo, especially the Series 1.

I know - I don't know what series I have. Mrs. Wave bought it on one
of her Association deals - buy one get one free.

To tell the truth, I've only used it once to record the new Discovery
show "Smash Lab".
