An unborn child has no control or choice and the decision is made by
others based on what *they* think.
A volunteer soldier is one by *his/her* choice and understands (or
should) the risks and requirements of the job.

Once a soldier's in the service, he has a choice of going where he's told,
or getting in trouble, right? That's not a choice, unless AWOL is
considered a good choice.


You obviously don't understand the concept of a military.
You don't pick and choose your duty and that is clearly understood before
you raise your right hand.
You are required to obey any "lawful" order. So there's your debate ... is
being ordered to Iraq a lawful order or not.
If our banana heads in Congress can't determine that, how the hell does a
lowly Private decide?
