Around where I live, you could walk across the creek bottoms a week
ago, now they're at their top, and about to spill over intot he
fields. It raind hard around ehre for the last couple days, and stuff
is swelling. BUT! It's been so dry for so long, it's all soaked in and
there's not a puddle to be found on any road or any driveway.

It'll take quite a while for the ground to saturate, I imagine.

That's just whats going on in my locale, I don't know what it's like
in the rest of the state. I ahvent heard of any disaster areas,
though.

Hope you guys can get some water down south and fill you're lakes
(Lanier etc) back up.

yeah, John. Lanier, being drained the way it has, it cant be really
good for the local ecology, or economy. but on the brighter side, at
least it can give people an oppertunity to chart out where the stumps
and rocks are. Of course, it would cost a fortune to clean it out, and
dredge out the heavy stuff, but......
Good to hear all's well.

Maybe someone will give us an update on the lakes down south, Falls Lake
and Lake Lanier.

Your post on this topic showed up about 2 minutes after I posted a question
to you regarding the flooding. Did you see my post, or was this just a case
of gmta?
