do on Tuesday mornings? I start my Tuesday pretty much like most
weekdays. I get up with the wife if she's not traveling, to get the
kids off to school, then while having my second cup of coffee, I check
my email and voice messages for anything that may be work related.
Usually there after, I take my coffee out on the lower deck and sit
listening to the birds and animals in the woods, unless it's too cold,
then I just go into my office and get to work.

Life is good!


- Woke up at 6:00 with perfect work plan, as usual.

- 6:15, phone starts ringing. Two truckers have missed their appointments,
according to warehouses. Truckers blame warehouses, warehouses blame
truckers.

- Glued to phone for five hours, to avoid missing calls from wayward
dispatchers and "blameless" warehouse people. Still in bath robe. At least
there were some decent sales to balance the aggravation.

This happens about once a week, this trucker thing. Last week, it was a
trucker who said he was lost in Nashville. I asked where he was from. He
said "Goodlettsville", a suburb of Nashville. Said he'd been driving for 20
years. Duh. Lost in his own city.
