Default Our Friend Stumpy

Not much of a stump, at least in my neck of the woods, but the so called

So how do you like the Ruger Vaquero?
The only one I ever shot in .357 bit like hell.

As I said, "Stumpy" used to be larger, but what you see is the result of
about four years of being a target, or a target holder. I have no idea
why anyone thought the spinner targers were animal traps. Ignorance, I
suppose.

The Vaquero, ah, I love it and so did everyone else. I only had a couple
of boxes of ammo for it (I only brought one revolver with me), and as
soon as I shot off the first few rounds, everyone else wanted to shoot
it, too. It has a bit less barrel flip than, say, a semi-auto that
shoots .40 S&W.

These were a real steal. I got them at a gun shop where they were on
consignment sale, and I paid less than half the typical retail. One of
the pair had less than 100 rounds fired through it, the shop owner said,
and the other had never been fired. Consecutive serial numbers, nice
presentation box.

I'm looking for a nice holster set. Lots of accessories around for these
cowboy revolvers.
