Awhile back, I came very close to dying. I have very good insurance. I
waited in the emergency room for six hours, then two hours in triage,
then another day and a half before a surgical suite would be available
for the surgeon to get me in. It was so close at the end that he came
and personally checked on me every half hour.
So, please tell me where you would have rather been, Cuba, Britian,
Iran.??? *Please, we will pitch in for a ticket if you want to be
treated somewhere else...

Isn't it interesting that you, with your claim of being a "conservative
Christian," are so lacking in compassion, while I, most definitely *not*
a "conservative Christian," am appalled by the lack of access to good
medical care for those without the need to pay for it.
I am a bad christian, a liberatarian, and never claimed to be
compassionate either. You are bound by nothing more than ideology and
a hatred for anyone you perceive as more successful than you, and you
don't even know what success is...
I think you and your kind pay lip service to the teachings of Jesus. I'm
not a Christian, yet I am much more of a "compassionate Christian" than
you and your ilk are.
I do not preach to anyone, never have, I have a testimony and folks
are aware of that, I am proud of it. But I don't push it on anyone,
not even my own family, that is up to them. And you are not
compassionate, you are contrived...
I think anyone in this country who is ill should
have access to the same kind of health care services I have, even if
they cannot pay for it.
In some cases where folks had no choice, but I brought this on
myself.. Although, I must admit, I would probably not trade a minute
of it
