Found some clarification on the Schumacher battery chargers. The SC 6500
that I ordered is part of the 'Speed Charger' series, microprocessor
controlled, etc.[http://tinyurl.com/3btfhe] Don't know why they didn't
put the words "Computer Smart" on the bigger chargers, but they are all
controlled with microprocessors.
The other style appears to be the old transformer type. This is the same as
what I have now. [http://tinyurl.com/2qerwo] If you check the weight,
you'll see these weigh almost twice as much as the comparable 'Speed
Chargers', which would indicate the presence of, as you suggested Rich, a
transformer.
Finding the right page on the Schumacher site helps!
Thanks again for your input. I'd have probably bought another transformer
type without it.
When you get it, maybe you could lend it to Larry so that he can FULLY charge
his battery banks for the first time. :'O- Hide quoted text -

You mean the ones on his boat? or the ones behind his eyes?

Next, how to pick the perfect orange plastic flare gun.

Good morning, Harry! Happy New Year's eve.
