Firefox, as most browsers, has the ability to spoof the User Agent
String. Why not just use Firefox and tell the problem web sites that you
are using IE.

I have started using firefox for 90% of my surfing. Since most of the
people in rec.boats use the internet, I was really just posting a news
article about problem that many people have found about the new IE7.
