Default Merry Christmas all and got the wife a GPS.

Hmmmm.... $250 - $50 in merchandise = $200.... How is that MORE than
$218 even with tax on the $250. (BTW.. I bought the same 200W from
west...best deal going!!)

West may be a little pricier on some items (Compared to the internet)
but my boats would not float without them. I will pay for customer
service and convenience because if we don't support our local stores
they will go out of business then where do we go when we are ready to
leave the dock and something breaks. BTW... I live in Fort Lauderdale
where we have more marine competion than ANYWHERE in the USA... 7 West
stores in Broward county alone along with at least 15 competitor stores
and I still find west to be the least expensive over all and the most
helpful (over all) Maybe it is just in SFL but most of the people in the
store are actual boaters.

Sometimes, I pay more just for sheer convenience... West Marine is one of
those cases... 31 bucks... big deal. The wife is happy.

Merry Christmas.

Merry Festus to all. And got a Garmin Nuvi 200W for the wife today.
Was going to get a tomtom xls one, but West Marine had the Nuvi for
$249 + a $50 gift certificate to the store. Played with it while
waiting at the Mexican market for the Christmas Eve Tamales. Pretty
cool.

Return it right after Xmas and get a refund.

$218 with no tax or shipping from Buy.com.

Use the difference in ANY store, not just overpriced Waste Marine.
