Apparently Dumb Dan doesn't know what a black rifle is.
One of the URLs in that reference post showed a black rifle.
The URL in question led to this:

Now, I didn't look closely at the photo, but it sure looked like an
assault or assault-looking rifle of 1960s to current manufacture, one
of the "ARs" or a facsimile of one.
They are referred to as black rifles. I'll leave it to the junior
googlers to figure out why.
A Colt 1911 is an assault weapon.
A Remington Model 1200 is and assault weapon.
Hell, a Ka-Bar is an assault weapon.
A toenail clipper is an assault weapon.
A Swiss Army knife is an assulat weapon.
Anything a soldier or Marine caries into battle can be classified as an
assault weapon.
