And more insanity from the land of the fruit cakes:

Ban burning wood in fireplaces? What's next, banning cooking hamburgers
on
a charcoal grill?
There is a county or county in the Netherlands where there is a tax on
back yard grilling which comes to something like $27 American. The tax
is to offset the CO2 emissions in relation to the environment (global
taxing). The most rediculous part of the whole law was they are
planning on flying a frekin' chopper with IR on hot summer evenings to
find scaflaws. Idiots...
That is so anal. Netherlands is cold, having things grow green in January
would be great.
Sooner or later you know we are going to have to fight this insanity.
What boater would not like to go to Leach Lake Minnesota in January to
fish! Or perhaps Hudsons Bay.
Are these idiots so in love with snow for? Canada has tree stumps coming
from glaciers only 7000 years old!

Given how old this planet is, warming might be just the thing and one
whole lot more normal that your average greeny thinks. Besides, most
greeny people are in it for the green back.
Just one problem: The things you think you could enjoy in January might not
be there to enjoy. Everything might change along with the climate. Think
about it: If you want huge pike, you go to Canada, where the winters are
longer than they are here. Why are pike bigger there?
