These photographs were taken approx. October 20th 1977 aboard the Chemical
Tanker Stolt Surf in the Pacific Ocean during a freak storm whilst enroute
Singapore to Portland.

It would be nice to give credit to the photographer, Karsten Peterson, who
was the Chief Engineer on the ship.
