Various shots of tradtional dutch sailing vessels. Picture 1 and 2 were
taken near Eernewoude, in Friesland. The other pictures were taken sailing
on the IJsselmeer.

Unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me when I saw the fishing
vessel in picture 6 anchored against a beautufull sunset. We have to make
do with this one, which I like as well.

Picture 4 is one of my favorites.

If I'm not mistaken the fishingvessel is a "Botter".
Not many fisherman are fishing for a living with these ships anymore.
An uncle of mine, not among the living anymore was fishing with his brothers
on a botter on the old Zuiderzee.
I enjoyed his storys very much.
