I just can't take any Global taxing advocate seriously that would use
that **** on their boat... Sorry Harry, nothing personal. That is a
low transom carbon footprint nightmare you got there in that picture.
If you want to come down here and built me a new barn, I'll consider
your bid. I don't have room in my old storage barn, and the plastic
works very well.
What boat have you that compares in size and value to my little Parker,
and where do you store it so it is protected from Old Man Winter? On the
trailer, the rig is about 26' long and 9' wide.
My little boat is probably more valuable to me than you as I could not
afford to replace it if it were destroyed... Anyway, I would do what
my neighbor does. He uses a reuseable tarp with a door cut in it. It
is sealed down by cellophane type pallet wrap sold in staples and
such, stretched around the gunwhales. There is a little sticky velcro
door in the back for access. At the end of the winter he folds up the
tarp and throws out a bit of pallet wrap, a hunk squished down to
about the size of a basket ball.. One tarp and one roll of stretch
wrap will last him twenty years... since you asked..
Most of the tarps I have seen "print" onto fiberglass boats. No thanks.
