Sorry for being vague. Looking for 4 stroke, for 17 to 19 ft shallow V
'scow' bow open boat, possibly with minimal forward steering station. Will
be running around on rivers and swamps. Don't expect to get offshore or
even into big water. I guess around 25 to 50 hp, if that sounds reasonable.
Not really in a hurry. Want to enjoy the scenery without scaring it away.

2 stroke's will typically have more vibration and be louder than 4
strokes.
The main reasons for any extra vibration would be a bent prop or a bent
shaft
in the drive train.


Seeking info on comparative outboard noise/vibration levels. Also info
on how to reduce outboard noise/virbation.
