I'm thinking of building a boat.

That is all. :)

If steel or alumium I can arrange for metal fab and welding.

Hmmm.... that gives me an idea.

I need to find an excellent naval architect.

I have access to one or two if you are serious...

Something occurred to me after we were talking the other night.

I wonder if there are plans out there for, say, 18' Novi type hull,
CC. Something like this only with a after of center outboard well.

The second thing that occurred to me is that I have all that pine
under the addition (you've seen that mass of wood) - if I had that
resawn to 3/8" would that work as planking? Or built it as lap
strake?

I have access to all kinds of red and white oak for ribs and such.

I think I need to give you another call to discuss it.

Or maybe this.

With slightly more effort you can build a wooden boat, that looks like
a wooden boat, and holds up like a composite... looks do count
