It is a pretty big deal. I think most of the watering "exceptions" are
gone. There have been some reports on the radio of people putting in
wells, but I think it is pretty rare.
I had a part of my lawn that I have been trying to get some grass on
ever since I moved here ten years ago. And it is all dead. Some areas
have pretty harsh fines for watering lawns etc. You just do what you can
not to waste it.
OTOH no matter how much one conserve, that just add to what the Army
corps of engineer will let run down river. They are letting out much
more then what is going into Lanier.
A buddy of mine pulled his go-fast out last weekend as the Marina where
he keeps his boat said it had to be moved. Since alot of the tress that
were just topped off when the lake was build are getting to the surface.
He decided he would not be using the boat anyway. Until thinks got
better so he just put it in dry storage.
