Winterizing son of Yo Ho this weekend, or early next week.

I was hoping for another couple of days of warm weather before the
middle of November, but it doesn't look like it is going to happen.

Right now, it is in the low 40's, with an 18-knot northerly wind.
Water temp has dropped to the mid-50's.

Summer in Seattle weather, maybe, but not the sort of weather in
which I enjoy open boat boating.

Meanwhile, my retired friend who lives in Costa Rica sent me a
couple of ads for islands for sale right off the coast of Nicaragua.
$350,000 American for a three acre island with a house with diesel
generator, globalstar sat phone, a caretaker house, a concrete pier,
white sand beach, and "owner financing."

I wonder how often the island is under water during storms? The
house is 40' above sea level.

:} Be fun to raise the old Jolly Roger there.

It looks like you got about as much time on your engine as I did in
the in the last few weeks.

Dunno. I ended the season with about 30 hours on the new engine. I've
got to remove the electronics, cushions, batteries, docklines, et
cetera, and store them in the basement.

Are you taking the electronics out of the 36' Zimmerman like Lobsta'
boat too?

You don't really think I'm going to climb down in the septic tank to
play with you, do you? If you do, you're even dumber than I thought, and
believe this, I think you are among dumbest posters who visit here.

Have a nice day.
