We got tired of living aboard our 32 footer after about a week, even

though
we moved to different ports several times.

On the other hand, I would think that living aboard a 50 footer like

Wayne's
and Eisboch's boats would be quite different. In Wayne's case it looks

like
he travels to some interesting areas.

I always enjoyed the mornings.......sipping on a freshly brewed cup of
coffee while sitting in the cockpit and taking in the sunshine.

Much to Mrs.E's chagrin, I could easily live aboard the Navigator. It's
just big enough (52' LOA with a 15+' beam) to not feel cramped. It also has
a layout that feels very open and spacious. If we end up keeping it
(meaning the GB sells first) I am seriously thinking about eliminating the
forward stateroom double bed setup and installing a desk, fixtures and
whatever in it's place. It would make a great office space and we really
don't need the extra stateroom. The conversion is a little more complicated
than simply removing the bed, but I am working on the plans.

The GB, at 36' can get a little closed in after a while, but a few trips
ashore fixes that.

This is my dilemma. I like both boats, but can't realistically expect to
live aboard either one permanently (although I came close this summer). We
really don't want to maintain two boats, but which one to focus on selling?
We'll see.

I don't think downsizing is an option. I like having the space.
