I thought Wakefield is hurt..........bad back. Your #4 slot it not looking
good.

He's day to day at this point, but at the moment, it's looking like
he'll start game Four. And with the way that the Tribe cooks lefties,
I doubt the Sox will use Lester. The only other option is Tavarez and
he's not a back option for a solid 5 innings.

Westbrook is too iffy. With the number of days off in this 7 game series I
hope they go with a 3 man rotation:

Oct 12 at Boston - Game 1 - CC
Oct 13 at Boston - Game 2 - Fausto
Oct 14 - Game break
Oct 15 at Cleveland - Game 3 - Byrd
Oct 16 at Cleveland - Game 4 - CC with Westfield available
Oct 17 - Game break
Oct 18 at Cleveland - Game 5 - Fausto
Oct 19 - Game break
Oct 20 at Boston - Game 6 - Byrd
Oct 21 at Boston - Game 7 - CC with everyone but Byrd available

Ew..tough rotation. We'll see what happens. Weather is also going to
play a part in this - it's supposed to rain Friday which could really
put a monkey wrench in the gears rotation wise.

With Wakefield hurt the Sox may do the same thing. The edge on this
rotation goes to Cleveland.

Well, I'm not sure about that. Sabathia and Carmona are both power
types and that's red meat for the middle of the Sox order - not to
mention Lowell batting fifth who leads in doubles. And I can't say
that, from a pure baseball perspective, that you have any edge over
Beckett or Schilling - both proven big game pitchers.

I see the rotations as pretty much with the exception of the Tribe's
propensity for beating up lefties.
