Took wife and picnic to Treasure Island, the old navy base that is now a

Used to take the boat, but have had two friends boats hit and run in the
anchorage by Alcatraz, so now just take the chairs and watch from TI. Of
those 2 hit, one did not get the offender. The show was great, some
Stunt
biplanes and monowings, and the Blue Angels put on a great show as usual.
Being on TI, is one of the landmarks they use and they fly low over it.
TI
is part of Yerba Buena Island, the island in the middle of the SF Bay
Bridge. Couple of friends did take their boats and did some shark
fishing
before the show, for some nice action. A few smooth hound sharks, a
couple
of legal size leopard, etc.

Have you ever taken a tour of the Coast Guard facility on Yerba Buena?
It's interesting, they control shipping in the bay there, I went there
when the fog was in.

A long time ago, when in high school. A really long time ago. I was
friends with the son of the CG Commander at YBI. So got a nice tour.
