I think "old people " like some of my relatives go to casinos as a
form of entertainment , with that small hope in the back of their mind
that they might strike it rich .
In the 30 years since gambling started in Atlantic City , I have only
been in a casino 3 times , and have invested ( lost ) a total of maybe
$25.00 . Its a suckers game with the house taking in more than they
pay out........they have to or they fold up .
I wish I could say I only invested $ 25.00 in State lotteries , but
that would be telling a bold face lie .I did win $1076.00 in the
Maryland Lottery way back when .

So, it sounds like they do "cruise" at times, but they were tied to the dock
during the times when we were there.
I can't tell you how depressing it was to watch old people with canes and
walkers shuffling into this place only to come out with empty pockets. What a
waste...
