I'm far too hideous to be seen in public, but I don't have a bad
looking left thumb.... (see page 1 pdf) :-)

Warning: the photo of my thumb appears on a website promoting a
boating product, so if you're averse to viewing a commercial site
please don't follow this link:

Your hand looks like it has never seen a hint of sunshine......it is as
white as a white person's hand can get!

Heck, most folks get a tan on their left arm/hand while just driving their
car during the summer. ;-)

Do you ever see the sun in Seattle?

"The Bluest Skies you'll ever see are in Seattle, the greenest green
you'll ever see is in Seattle".

And it's true. It just doesn't happen every day of the year.- Hide quoted text -

No, no, no. Somebody screwed up those lyrics when they made "Here Come
the Brides" and the results have endured for 40 years. They're
supposed to go "The bluest skies you'll NEVER see are in Seattle, the
greenest moss you'll ever see is in Seattle,,,"

Just like the third or fourth largest city in the state, about half an
hour north of Seattle. Boeing builds planes there. The original town
founders decided on a descriptive name, "Everwet". Some map maker or
land surveyor said "That can't be right!" and suddenly, lo and behold,
we had the town of Everett.

It rains here, everyday. The streets are jammed with cars, housing
prices are through the roof, and liberals are running amuck. The
women(except my wife of course) are homelier than average, and think
that the height of fashion is a Goretex parka from REI or Eddie Bauer.
The art museum is filled with toem poles and paint-by-number oils. Our
bustling nightlife scene is so deplorable that our top musicians all
leave town or commit suicide. You can't find anything in most
restaurants except a fast food hamburger or clam chowder served in a
sour dough "bread bowl".

Truly, nobody in their right mind would ever want to live here. Should
you here of anybody planning to relocate up this way, do your best to
talk them out of it. :-)
