There is a way.

Put them out on the curb the day before trash collection with a sign
that says FREE.

Alas. Around here most folks would assume that "free" meant a place to
dump more hazardous waste without charge. Put one old TV, computer
monitor, etc on the curb with a "free" sign and you're likely to find
a group of half a dozen castoffs or so assembled by the following
morning.

We're lucky enough to live in a neighborhood where people don't
routinely pile old furniture, etc, at the curb hoping somebody will
haul the junk away. My "thrifty" (she claims- I say "cheap") wife has
tried this from time to time with mixed success. I always tease her by
singing a highy customized version of the Beverly Hillbillies theme
song. :-)

No, I think Craigs List will be the solution. I'd put it on Ebay, but
the thing has to weigh 40 pounds or more and the dome is close to 3
feet in diameter so FedEx Ground would be pretty expensive. Local
pickup would be the ideal solution.

It's hard to believe- well maybe it's just hard to accept- that nobody
will want a working radar. :-)
