They are great hats. But, are they still claiming that they float? If so,
don't believe it for a moment. I lost one a couple of years ago when some
serious wind blew it off my head. It landed 10 feet away in the water, and
sank instantly.

My two have the little removable foam crown insert.
Was yours still in its place when the hat sank?
