I know it's being picky, but could someone rename this thread
something like survivalist training or other-poster bashing (yes, I
realize that I can fit into that hole, too, but it's not what the
title sez)?
For the record, and for the title, we're in the Sassafras River just
above the bascule bridge, and are heading south today after doing a
very thorough scrub in fresh water and a bunch of minor maintenance.
I was going to go up the mast yesterday but, wouldn't you know, up
came the wind, and I'd wanted to strip the sails first. Plenty of
time in the next couple of weeks....
Off to the boat show and local touring. We'd stop in Balto on the way
but have had enough folks tell us that time is of the essence if we
want to anchor that we will do that by land or post-show. All is well
(see Lydia's log for excitements with the cat) with all aboard;
Lydia's mom is spoiling us and I'm gaining back the weight I lost!
I'll have a log posting soon; right now I need to get the dink up and
get moving on what should be an ideal sailing day.
