I wondered if the "security zone" around Sydney means no sailing in
the harbor. Apparently they've mobilized a tremendous number of troops
and shut down almost everything. Must a PITA for people who live
there!

I got out of the city for the weekend.
It's unforgivable that out PM has brought this circus into Sydney,
dozens of kilometers of fencing across the whole city to protect them
from us.
a 45 km no fly zone, harbour closed, people not being allowed back
into their homes inside the exclusion zone if they happen to walk out
the door without ID, a guy trying to cross one of Sydney's main
streets with his 3YO son being crash tackled handcuffed and locked up
for 24hrs, train services cancelled because a dignitary may be in the
vicinity of a railway station, traffic chaos!

A public holiday declared for people working in the city,,bugger the
bosses who need to pay for it and millions lost in work not done,
hotels losing millions as people stay away in droves, without even
counting the cost of the thousands of security people.

Shrub arrived with 700+ entourage.....helicopters flying up the
streets between the buildings....

Elections coming up....this will be the end of John Howard....

It would have been nice if they got the name of the city right..

And, of course, Ossama in Sydney...
