Joe, I only went in up to my chest and still had my forearms aboard. I
was able to get back on, quite undignified, but without assist. To her
credit, the girl at the helm took us upwind right away and stopped the
boat. Since I was dressed to swim and conditions were comfortable, a
williamson turn would not have been required.
Hey, we went swimming later anyway.

Since Gayanzy did not know any of this, his comment on the Williamson
turn, which is FINE for sailing in some conditions, though the Quick
turn ( a figure 8) is probably best.
