Your fuel burn is very close to what I predicted. I calculated 6.7
gph at 4,000 RPM and it looks like you were at 6.2 actual. That

I wonder what the impact of burning off 50 gallons of fuel will be. The
tank holds 100 gallons, but there certainly is no reason why I would
want to transport that much fuel. Keeping the tank half full will save
about 320 pounds of dead weight.
