There's no reason to go through all the trouble and probable expense
that would imply. There are too many variables. Further, the engineers
at Parker and Yamaha have already tested a bunch of props and published
their results, and so have dozens of Parker owners. The prop that Parker
sent out with my boat allows the engine to rev up properly, and produces
the results I want. I suppose I could "experiment" with another brand of
prop, but I am not so inclined. While swapping props is not difficult,
arranging that with a bunch of third-party props would be.
