Comments from a friend of mine.

I would guess the boat slipped out of the rig. The front
strap seems to be pretty far back. You could convince
yourself that the screws have been torn off from the final
picture, which would have happened if it slide out of the rig.
Also there is an "oil slick" around the boat in the final
picture, or poor editing?


Says right in the article that the sling strap broke....
