I don't believe there is really anything close to wake forest. There is
only one on Falls and it is down 98 past rt50 towards Durham. That makes it
a good 40 minutes or more from downtown Wake Forest. Mots of these lakes
are controlled by the corp or local authorities and they don't allow a lot
of marinas. They are also sources of drinking water and marinas generate a
lot of pollution compared to trailering in. There are several on Kerr and
Gaston but that's not close. I keep my 19 1/2 in the garage. 2 car garages
are pretty common on most of the houses in this area.
