Amazing! I had the same thought about Clinton when he was in office.

Speaking of skateboards,,, We have two boys from the Chernobyl area

spending a
few weeks with us this summer. One of them is an avid skateboarder, as of

last
year when we got him one. He wasn't allowed to bring his skateboard back

this
year. Any idea where one could look for a used skateboard?

He wasn't allowed to bring it back? WTF kind of nonsense is that?

Used skateboards: Forget it, unless you get lucky and find one at a garage
sale. Or, call a couple of local skateboard shops in town. Typically,
though, used skateboards are beat all to hell. Skateboarders keep them
around to loan to beginners. The bearings are usually shot and the wheels
all pitted.

New: Two of my son's friends decided to see if they liked the sport before
spending big bucks, so they picked up $20 boards at Toys R Us. Lousy wheels
& bearings, and the boards are wider than a really good board, but still
serviceable.

I say bite the bullet, take the kid to a real skateboard shop, or Galyan's,
and get him another good one. You're talking $120 max. You probably burn
that much gas just to catch a few fish each weekend. :-)
