Where'd you go, wadidya do? Swim, fish, saw my bud up at the lake last
week working on an engine. We had a tuft a year or two ago and have
not spoken since, now we will probably go fishin' again soon. Amazing
what an hour at the lake can do.

I'm going snook fishing tomorrow. I'll post updates when I get back,
assuming I am not too tired from pullin on the linesiders to write.
ok, no snook yesterday, but i blame it on lack of my ability to net some
quality bait. went by the first secret spot, tried some artificials, to
no avail. the guys near us landed about 10 that i counted in about 30
minutes.
next found a place with some shrimp, so we bought a few dozen. then on
the the next secret spot. we brought home our limite of redfish, with a
23-incher being the biggest landed of the day. the one that felt
significantly bigger got off before being boated. oh well, i have the
spot marked!
also got a nice haul of 4 mangrove snapper too. the bycatch of small
jacks, sailcats, pinfish, smaller mangroves, and a couple of ladyfish.
the weather was warm and the sun was out. didn't get rained on once.
