Yer gonna have to drive 10 or 11 hours (measured from Moline) for good
whitewater rafting.

Or 14 hours to Buena Vista, CO

Google "USA Raft", "Ocoee River Raft", or "Ohiopyle Raft" for
Appalachian options.
