Long story short: Four adults and two children in a 16' Bayliner on the

1. The fact that it was a Bayliner is totally irrelevant to the
tragedy..........the end result would have been the same if it were any
other brand.
2. The parents are absolute idiots and should never have been allowed
give birth and take care of children.
3. The event was indeed tragic......one that could easily have been

That's right. They should have stayed where they were rather than try to
return home in dense fog without radar.
Secondly, children should always wear a PFD when on board and adults also
in dangerous conditions.


2:30 am in a 16' boat on a major river with your family is not normal, and
unsafe.
