So where was I today?
Well, as I said I went down to the boat at 1:30, but actually I was
really there to pull down the genoa of a Catalina 40 to measure for a
new 140% tri-radial. I was lucky and the owner was there to help so we
were done pretty fast. Even more lucky as his friend showed up with
her new (to her) J24. Winds were too good to pass up and we headed out
for some fun on the J boat. No matter how many times I sail a J24, I'm
always at what fun boats they are. Nell's "Baby Blue" has new sails
and we had a great time playing with the boat and enjoying the day.
Sadly, not many others were out, but hey...more room for us!
So...now Thomas is sleeping and I'm tired from all the play. Anyone
else go for a sail today?
Tomorrow looks almost as good.

Nice sail.

Some of us might have to deal with the FDA, Customs, Homeland
security, insurance, health depts, fire mashalls, OSHA, CFR
regulations, USCG, and have to fill out a pile of forms a mile high
just to go on one little trip...but remember I did say Epic.

Well, I was teaching for the last 4 hours...
