Don't buy anything from American Marine and Motorsports in Shawano , WI
I can see you have never had this happen to you.
I was at a chrysler dealership years ago where the Sales Manager kept my
keys (which i dumbly gave up for the old "let us drive test your potential
tradein to determine its value") on his credenza behind his desk.
When the Sales Associate couldn't produce the keys when I told him I wasn't
purchasing any car from them, I demanded to know where the keys were.
Eventually he told me the Sales Manager had them.
I immediately went to the Sales Managers office to get my keys when he
expressed "tell us what it will take to get you to drive out of here tonight
with a new car". I told him "give my my keys now or I am coming over your
desk". He replied with "sir, I can see you are not serious about purchasing
a new car tonight, what can we do to change your mind". I made a move
towards his desk, and he immediately turned around and gave me my keys back.
BELIEVE ME.....THIS CAN REALLY HAPPEN. In the mean time, they had some
poor woman in the next office in tears using the same tactic. Sad...really
sad.
Being childish has nothing to do with these sales a**holes. They only
understand aggression. If you are passive, they will eat you alive.

Ya know this (or a minor variation) works. Several years
ago I was in a local car dealer (Patrick) haggling over a
car. It became obvious that we were not about to come to
agreement, so I politely told the salesman such, and asked
for my car keys back (the trade in evaluation), He changed
the subject, and we went back and forth for a minute or 2.
I became insistent, finally asking if he wanted a scene, and
yet again he avoided my question. I jumped up, overturned
the table, and shouted at the top of my voice that he ahd
the dealer were G.D. Thieves and that unless I had my keys
in 10 seconds, I was calling the police and reporting it
stolen/ I followed the salesman to the managers office
swearing all the way, and got my keys without incident.
This was also on a Saturday with a full showroom.
Sometimes it helps to make a little noise.
or act like an immature idiot.
The OP is out thousands of dollars while the dealer tries to fix his
broken
credit with the engine supplier. What would YOU do in the customer's
situation, you putz?
What would a putz do?
Well, he would overturn a table in a car dealership because he couldn't
control his childish emotions.
People never cease to cause me to shake my head.
