Donal, I forgot to mention that my Meade telescope is a
custom built one of
a kind, made just for the Consumer Electronics Show. It
was assembled by a
telescope maker of intertional repute, using the highest
grade COTS optics.
It is not a factory Meade. I even had a concrete pad made
just for the scope
which sit upon concrete pylons sunk 20 feet into the
earth. Next is the
structure to put around it! I can remotely control with an
extended bus from
my computer and replaced the eyepiece with a high quality
scientific camera.
I hope to have it all together by September and will put
up some pictures on
my website. I'm linking it with the local school so
students can RC the
telescope/camera at night, it's pretty easy to do since I
helped set up
their remote weather station too.

The Corolla is an outstanding value for your kids. 5 star
crash rating for
the passenger and the driver. To get that in a Subaru
Impreza you would have
to sit in the passenger seat and drive plus spend another
100% for the car
and 100% more for the lackluster fuel economy. You just
can't beat a Corolla
for value.
