How's our favorite bar between Jax and St. Augustine? I heard it had

Which one's that Harry? Rooster? Tattoo Dee left maybe 2-3 years ago
but Rennie has been running it pretty steadily since then. I don't
think that it ever actually closed when Rennie took over but things
might have been slow. Right now they must have the #1 bike nights on
Sundays and Saturdays in this part of the state.
Ah, the stories I could tell about that place ...

Yep...the Rooster.- Hide quoted text -

Best cheap steak in town! They do a cook out on Fridays and its
pretty good, to tell you the truth.

Tattoo Dee seems to have vanished. She was one of my favorite
characters, and I'd love to find out where she went to. Someone told
me that she moved to South Carolina, but other than that I haven't
heard a word.

Here's Dee from a few years ago:

Here's some other guy's photos of the Rooster. I've got one in my
book but can't find a copy off hand, which is irritating since the
Rooster is the closest bar to my house and I should have a ton of
them:

I used to park a couple of doors south of the bar!
First time I went there, I took a friend from the DC area who is an avid
biker and he thought it was "a nice place, tamer than it looks." I think
the tameness depended upon who was there.
We traveled that route between JAx and St. Augustine a lot until we
moved down there. It was a far more pleasant drive than I-95.
